What you see for free

Once you enter a plate we look up the basic details we can match, such as make, model, colour, year, fuel type and engine size. It is a quick way to confirm we have the right car before you go any further.

What the full spec report can include

Where data is available for your vehicle, the report may include:

  • Engine size, fuel type and gearbox
  • Power in bhp and PS, and torque in Nm and lb ft
  • Performance figures such as 0 to 62 mph and top speed
  • Fuel economy and CO2 figures
  • Dimensions, weights and boot space
  • A standard equipment and features list for the model and derivative

The exact fields depend on the car. Older, imported and rare models may have less data. Typical coverage: engine, power, torque, performance, economy, dimensions and standard features where available.

How it works

  1. Enter your UK registration and check the preview.
  2. Continue, add your email and pay £4.99.
  3. Receive your report by email within a few working days.

Why not just use the free DVLA check?

The gov.uk vehicle enquiry is free and useful for tax status, MOT status, colour, engine size and CO2. It does not show power, torque, performance or a features list. That is the gap our report aims to fill.

Who finds this useful

Buyers comparing two similar looking cars, owners getting an insurance quote right, sellers writing an accurate advert, and anyone who wants to know what their car came with.

Responsible use

We supply vehicle data only. We never provide keeper names or addresses.
